well i was browsing the forums/build directory/guild wiki and could not find a farming build for a ranger that only uses faction skills because im cheap and dont want to buy any other game. so i came up with this, its still being perfected.

wilderness survival - 12 (i think, im at work rite now son i cant check)
da skills
shockwave (elite)
aftershock
fire trap
barbed trap
ward against melee
whirling defence
earth attonment
troll ungent
so this build takes a bit top set up traps since i cannot get serpants quickness but i set upp 2 sets of traps and use earth attonment. i then find a good group of melee guys and i move forward from my traps maybe 5 ft. i lure them in with the bow and use whirling defence. then once all of them are trying to attack me i move backwards into the traps and use shockwave and aftershock. then i use troll ungent/ward/whirling to stay alive and keep setting up traps and use the AoE spells. works execlent so far
Trying to trap when you can't even get half the skills is literally futile...
Aftershock is a waste without a knockdown... which would've been attainable if you had Tripwire or Spiked Trap, but you can't get either.
Don't waste effort making builds that'll never work. Just make something that will actually work with Factions only skills and would still be comparable to the real thing...
You are going to be limited on how many traps you lay, because you need to make sure you have 20 energy ready for your combo. I'd have to agree with 'sod, this will be hard to make work. :/

the only reason i didnt use trappers speed is because i needed the elite spot for shockwave. i jus dont have enought traps at my desposal to deal out damage. if i had more traps that i could use i would have used trappers speed
